We will be changing the access expiration period from 24 hours to 6 hours of requested free Demonoid invitation codes. With our latest monitoring, we have seen that emails are sent instantly to users after they have filled in the request form. Because of this, we will be limiting the access period from 24 hours to 6 hours per user.

We expect users to immediately access their free Demonoid invites and use it, otherwise, this poses as non-interest to the code. If the Demonoid invite is unused after 6 hours, we will add the access link back to the database. This applies to free codes that have not been completely accessed in any way.

We haven't given out any Demonoid accounts since we still have enough free Demonoid invitations.

In the past, we have set Demonoid free invitation codes to 24 hours validity per user. Unfortunately, due to several factors, many of those who sent the requests are not able to check their email accounts regularly and they miss the chance to use their codes before we remove the availability of their invitation.

To give better chances to everyone who are sending their requests, we are increasing the invite validity per person from 24 hours to 72 hours (3 days). This should make it easier for those who do not have enough time to open their inbox or instant access to the net to still be able to use their invitation codes.

Please note that this validity period is not the validity period set by Demonoid. This is the validity period we allow for each person to use the code before we remove his access to the free invitation code and give the invitation to someone else. This is our way of ensuring that we give fair chances for all those who need free Demonoid invitation codes.

The same rule applies after 3 days - if you have not accessed your code, we will give it to someone else.

Also, every time Demonoid opens their registration, we will be halting the sending out of invites since this gives everyone a chance to register without the codes. After the open registration period, we will begin sending out Demonoid invitation codes once again. Since we have no way of tracking whether you have already registered on Demonoid or not, kindly let us know if you no longer need the code so we may freely give them to other users.
